Evidence suggests that corporates are hardest hit when seeking services of a video producer. A report released by WVA reveals the core reason of such giant discrepancies between quotes from different videographers. "More and more ex-television producers are entering the web video market and they are bringing along with them their big TV budgets" - Says a video producer who only wants to be referred to as "Melanie". "They are used to having a large amount of manpower and money to make things work... But with web videos, you have to be more creative with what you've got to work with... You need to be able to multi-task to cut down on costs...With the demand for video constantly on the rise, ex-TV producers are driving up the overall cost of production. With web videographers following the trend, they are hiking their rates, but not giving the consumer anything extra".
